Product Description

We offer a wide range of Methylergometrine Maleate Injection that is mainly used for treatment of animals such as cow and buffalo. Offered injection is also given to poultry and mammals but during 28 days treatment, they should not be slaughtered for human consumption. Provided injection is also ideal for eliminating uterine exudates and enhancing efficacy of intrauterine therapy meat. Provided Methylergometrine Maleate Injection is known for its precise competition.

Ergovet

Composition

Each ml. contains

Methylergometrine Maleate   I.P.      0.2 mg.

Water for Injection               I.P.        q.s

Indications:

Ø  Subinvolution

Ø  Retention of fetal membrane

Ø  Post-partum bleeding

Ø  Evacuating abortion

Ø  Uterine infection/ pyometra

Ø  Prolapse of uterus

Dosage:

Cow, buffalo & mare: 2-5 mg./animal. Ewe, goat & sow: 0.5-1 mg./ animal.

Bitch & queen : 0.2-0.4 mg./ 10kg. b.wt. or as directed by veterinarian

Repeat after 3-4 hours depending upon condition.

To improve uterine involution : One injection daily for 3-5 days.


Decreased uterine contractions may be associated with hypocalcaemia, administration of calcium in addition to Ergovet is recommended in such cases.

( Do not mix calcium injection with Ergovet )

Presentation : 10ml. & 30 ml. vial IM/ IV route

Withdrawal Period  


Milk : 7 days
